Morning Glory
Mt. Hood from Trillium Lake, Oregon
Nikon D300, Nikkor 12-24mm, F/16, HDR
Trillium Lake at an elevation of
3,600 feet, is nestled in a shady, mixed conifer forest about 40
miles southeast of Portland. It provides spectacular views of
majestic Mt. Hood, Oregon's highest point. On a cold fall
morning I located this interesting arrangement of rocks, and
took a number of photos to capture the contrast in the sky.
